Landscape is the starting point for Clive's prints here.

He is interested in places that show evidence of their history and how they have been used, shaped and exploited for living, for death, for ritual or defence and how natural forces change and distort the land.

 

He prefers a more intimate view rather than a wide one.

Organic exhibition

Clive's intention in this series of etchings was to create a semi abstract interpretation of the places he visited by combining drawings and photographic images taken during his visits.

​

In retrospect the resulting images, however, seem to have more to do with his own spirit and feelings at the time.
