Gill Smith, Artist, printmaker, designer -
Black and white exhibition

Gill is an artist based in west London with an MA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts, UAL (2014).

Her practice is rooted in print and the concept of the multiple but has widened to include more sculptural one-off pieces and artist books. Gill combines traditional printmaking techniques such as intaglio and screenprinting with digital and laser technology to create 2D and 3D works that explore light, texture and movement.

She takes inspiration from the bold graphics of the Art Deco period, mid century design and the visual illusions of Op Art. The precision of geometry continues to fascinate.
