As a hands-on maker, Momoka is fascinated by the skill of weaving.
This slow, evolving process mimics our lives; we get wiser and more beautiful as time passes, which shapes who we are. It is the same for woven fabric; each living thread contributes towards its individual character.

Inspired by time passages and memory, she finds beauty in decay. Momoka weaves with denim fabric as a symbol of positive time passage. She replicates the decay on its surface by using bleach and sandpaper. Mimoka's decorative textiles transform into wall art and heirloom-quality wearable pieces.
